However suits you

Three ways to have the conversation.

  • By phone

The most common choice. We call you at the time you pick — no dial-in codes, no app to install.

  • By video

A link arrives with your confirmation. Useful when you want to share a screen or a plan document.

  • Send it ahead

Email your plan letter, Annual Notice of Change or drug list beforehand and we will have read it by the time we speak.

What happens

No script, no pitch, no surprises.

The appointment is a conversation, not a presentation. Here is the shape of it, start to finish.

  1. 01

    What you have now

Your current plan, what it costs you, and what has prompted you to look. If you are new to Medicare we start from the beginning instead — there is no assumed knowledge here.

  2. 02

    Your doctors and prescriptions

We check the specific doctors and hospital you want to keep, and run your drug list at real tiers. This is the part that decides most of the answer, and it is the part most people skip.

  3. 03

What we would do, and why

A straight recommendation with the reasoning and the trade-offs named. Often that recommendation is to keep what you have. Nothing gets signed on the call unless you want it to.

Have to hand

Four things that make one appointment enough.

None of these are required — book with none of them and we will still help. But having them ready usually turns two conversations into one.

  • Your current insurance card, and the summary of benefits if you have it
  • Every doctor and specialist you want to keep, plus the hospital you would use
  • Your prescriptions — names, strengths and quantities, read off the bottles
  • Whether you are still working, and roughly how many employees your employer has

Questions

Before you book.

How long is the appointment?

About 30 minutes. That is genuinely enough for a first conversation — what you have now, what it costs, your doctors and prescriptions, and what you want the coverage to do. If we need longer we will book a second time rather than rush you.

Is there a charge for the appointment?

No. There is no fee, retainer or consulting charge for anything we do. Carriers pay licensed brokers a commission that is already inside the premium, so your rate is identical whether you use a broker or enroll on your own.

Do we meet in person?

No — every appointment is by phone or video, which is how we work with clients everywhere from the next town over to the other side of the country. Nothing about the review is worse for it: you can hold a document up to the camera, read us a letter, or email your plan paperwork over beforehand.

What if none of the times work?

Call (800) 657-4213 and we will find one. Evenings and weekends are available by arrangement — most of our clients are still working, so this comes up constantly.

Will I be pressured to switch plans?

No. Plenty of these conversations end with us telling someone their current plan is the right one and they should keep it. You get a clear recommendation and the reasoning behind it, then you decide.

Can I reschedule or cancel?

Yes, any time. The confirmation email carries a reschedule link, or you can simply call or text us. There is no cancellation fee and no follow-up sequence if you decide not to rebook.
